Reflection #1: Emirati Culture Video
This is the
first reflection of the course cultural diversity and it is about the video on
Emirati culture. Firstly I would like to add that the video has been a challenge.
Reason being is that the project was the first time the group and I worked on
video. However, the challenges I feel have been met to the content of the
project’s satisfaction. I feel we all spoke well on the points and that the
video’s content is more than sufficient for the viewer.
The interesting part of the project
was interacting with non Arab tourists. It was interesting to learn about other
people’s culture, and as well as what they thought of the Emirati culture. The
most interesting point of the project in my opinion was discussing how to keep
the Emirati culture’s Integrity. How to preserve it in an increasing globalized
country.
